Artwork at The Palms
The artwork in each of our Apartments has been hand painted on oil canvas by incredibly talented local artist, Robyn Cooke. Robyn was born and raised in Perth, before moving to Cairns 10 years ago. In Robyn's own words:
"I always had an interest in painting and drawing but never had time to pursue my painting.
Since moving to Cairns and having time to enjoy the tropics, I decided to pick up my paintbrush and start painting again. Being in the tropics has inspired me to paint bright, tropical birds, foliage and also portraits. It's a much-loved hobby that brings me enjoyment and have made myself known as a local artist in Cairns, selling my paintings at the Palm Cove Markets."
